Zero Aggression policy

Protecting the wellbeing of those that work for us, and the integrity of the service, are as important as the patients we care for.  Therefore we have a zero aggression policy to any verbal, aggressive and violent abuse and behaviour towards our staff or other patients.

If a patient or anyone a patient brings with them to the Practice, is abusive, aggressive or violent towards our staff and/or other patients the police may be called and we have the right to discontinue care of a patient who has behaved in a violent or threatening manner.

 FAQs

  • Results are provided to you during a medical consultation.

Reception staff do not have access to your medical records.

If you are wanting to discuss your results, we encourage you to book a follow up appointment with your Doctor at the time the tests were ordered.

If upon receipt of your test results the Doctor identifies urgent action is required you will receive a telephone call from either your GP or one of our staff.

For any non-urgent results requiring a follow up appointment, you will be notified via Text Message or e-mail to book an appointment. If you don’t have a mobile number or email we will try to contact you via your home phone number or send you a letter.

Normal results will be provided to you during your next consultation.

If you do not wish to be contacted by text or email please let one of our staff know and we will update your information on our system.

Please advise reception if you want to opt out of reminders.
